Postcards

I have gotten a few of my photos printed out as postcards. I am very happy with the outcome. I were thinking of maybe trying to sell them in a stall or similar. I have however discovered that a stall is rather expensive. For a single stall in my local library at crafts day I would have to pay £30 for one day. I would have to sell a lot of postcards in order to get some sort profit... I have looked at other options as well like selling them on Ebay, but the postcard selling ventures I have seen there has been mostly related to quantity. I should have maybe have looked better into my idea before I made the other. Oh well, at the end of the day I still have 60 postcards of my own photos that I enjoy looking at. My family can look forward to getting more regular updates in the mail until my stock runs out :)

Rolling Stones

I was just going to try Second Life just a little to see what it was like. Before I knew it I were "hanging" at pubs and cafe's, drinking animated drinks, modifying my avatar looks, looking at art that people have uploaded, chatting to loads of friendly people. It seems like there is no limits to what you can do in Second Life, except for maybe touch and smell. The other night I went to a Rollig Stones concert in Second Life's version of Hyde Park in London. It was awesome! Once you get past the point where you compair againts real life, you realize that this is rather cool.

Narrow Boat going through Canal Lock

As cool as it seems to travel the canals in a narrow boat, going trough the locks would drive me nuts. It just seems to take forever. If it was me, I am sure I would try to open the lock way to soon and break the mechanism somehow.

Bunnies

Bunnies are brown
Bunnies are white
Bunnies are always
An Easter delight.

Bunnies are cuddly
The large and the small.
But I like chocolate ones
The best of them all.

Happy Easter everybody!!

The Room - short story part 1

The room fell silent as she walked in. Her tick angel hair bounced at just the right rhyme, wearing clothes with such brands dreams are made of. One female speed dating hopefull  shouted as the music stopped: "What is she doing here?" No-one answered. The originator sensed trouble brewing and ordered the music back on again. "Livin da vida loca" did not ease the tension. The air was tick of jealousy and frustration in equal measures. This was suppose to be their night, but the real world had caught up to them once again

Signs of spring

It's been a cold winter and I thought it was still holding it's cold hand over this country. This weekend I took a trip to Hampton Court Palace, South West London, and it changed my mind

Spring is here

St Patrick's day parade

Sunday I was out with a few friends from London Flickr meetups and camera to photograph St Patrick's day parade in London. Were there in good time to get the best spot. It was a sunny, great light for photography, day. It seemed to me that there were less people there to watch the parade and it was shorter then what I can remember from the past. Some said that it was because it was on the same day as Mothers day. It did not matter, just meant that it was easier to get close to the action. You can see a collection of the photos I took here
