I know I were struggling a bit, force closed on me every time I tried open the app last night. It started happening after I downloaded the 5.0 upgrade. Luckily I was able to resolve the issue. First I had to uinstall the application from my phone, download it again and finally install it one more time. Of course since this was a fresh install I had to set everything up like photo, shortner and video services again. So if your are not able to open Twidroid after upgrading, reinstall it from scratch and hopefully that will cure the problem - Worked for me anyway. Have a Nexus One running Android OS 2.2.2 

The Weather Channel used to have a really great Android App for forecasting weather, used it often. Then last night the App got upgraded to version 3, and I saw no other option then to uninstall it. Why?  After installing the new version I got a message asking if Weather Channel could track me in order to give more accurate weather forecast, I selected no thanks. The no thanks option closed the App down. So unless I agreed to the them track me all the time, they refuse to tell me what the weather is going to be like…Not nice! I then went to the Android Market and read what other users where saying about the upgrade. Those that had agreed to the tracking where saying that the App had taken over their phone, slowed it down, caused crashes and one even said that the ringtone had changed. So there were only one thing for it….
